Many countries in the world are rich with fabulous nature, inspiring history and culture and a lot of other things that deserve to be seen. However, some of those countries are going through political changes, civil wars, experiencing terrorist attacks, are exposed to some other types of violence or some circumstances pose health threats for both inhabitants and tourists. Because of this, you should think twice before deciding to visit some of these destinations, or at least take all the necessary precautionary measures. Here are some of the world’s most dangerous travel destinations and the reasons why are they on the list.

Nigeria

According to a report from the World Economic Forum, Nigeria is one of the least safe countries to visit. In the report this explained by the fact that Nigeria is plagued by terrorism and violence. In fact, the whole northern part of the country and some parts on the south are off-limits, because of the high threat from terrorism. Zimbabwe

In an ideal world, Zimbabwe would be the perfect tourist destination, for its spectacular parks, World Heritage listed sites and one of the most astonishing natural wonders of the world – Victoria Falls. Guinea

Guinea is a country blessed with stunning landscapes, from the Sahelian lands to mountain plateau Fouta Djalon. Unfortunately, it is a country affected by various health threats, most serious of them being Ebola.
