They tried to calculate the beaches in Australia. They considered a beach to be a stretch of land longer than 20 m that remains dry during high tide. According to this definition, Australia counts over 10,500 beaches. Therefore, it is no wonder that the marine life and the life on the beach are such an integral part of the Australian culture. Manly

This is not just among the most popular beaches in Sydney. Manly is among the most popular beaches in the entire Australia. It is the landmark for the surfers and they gather here from all parts of Australia. Since the beach is so popular you will have a hard time finding a place to park. A great idea is to take the ferry to Manly from the center and get an amazing view of the Opera House. Then you just walk along the Corso to the Manly Beach. Coogee

This beach is near the city center and it is easily reached by the public transportation. Besides the surfing that cannot be avoided on the Sydney Beaches, this place offers something for everybody. The white sand is inviting for those that enjoy beach volleyball. Families will find their place on the northern part of the beach, while the young people have their fun in the southern stretches of the beach. If you are on this beach on the ANZAC Day, you will see a lot of surfers paddling to the Wedding Cake Island from the Coogee to commemorate this important day. Fisherman’s Beach

For a more secluded and private place, you can opt to spend a day at the lovely Fisherman’s Beach. A lovely lawn that stretches to the sea and gradually turns into the sand, protected by the great Long Reef is a nice and romantic place. Fisherman’s Beach is a perfect spot to organize a wedding.
