The University of Sydney has the Coastal Studies Unit. They tried to calculate the beaches in Australia. They considered a beach to be a stretch of land longer than 20 m that remains dry during high tide. According to this definition, Australia counts over 10,500 beaches. Therefore, it is no wonder that the marine life and the life on the beach are such an integral part of the Australian culture. You cannot say that you know a city in Australia if you don’t know its beaches. So, if you want to get to know Sydney, here are the Sydney beaches that you need to see and experience.
